How does the per-mailbox pricing work?+
You pay monthly based on the total number of mailboxes in your account. The tier is determined by your total count — if you have 250 mailboxes, you're in the Growth tier at $0.85/mailbox. Add more mailboxes and the rate drops automatically when you cross a tier threshold.
Are there any base fees or setup costs?+
None. You pay only for the mailboxes you have active. No platform fee, no seat fee, no onboarding charge. Your first month is prorated from your signup date.
Can I scale up or down mid-month?+
Yes. Add mailboxes any time — they're provisioned within 2–4 hours and prorated to your billing cycle. Remove mailboxes and your next bill reflects the lower count. No waiting for renewal, no penalty.
How many emails can each mailbox send per day?+
Up to 4 emails per mailbox per day. This limit isn't artificial — it's the sweet spot for long-term inbox placement. To send more total volume, you add more mailboxes. That's the whole model: scale through infrastructure, not blast rates.
What does "150 mailboxes per domain" mean?+
Standard email providers cap you at 2–5 mailboxes per domain before flagging suspicious activity. ColdRelay's Azure infrastructure is configured specifically for outbound at scale — 150 mailboxes per domain without any reputation penalty. That's 75× the density at a fraction of the cost.
